"I grew up in the Midwest among the flat cornfields and sprawl that is Illinois. Thanks to a chance meeting in Laos, I ended up in Portland.

Today sees me immersed in the wine industry in the roles of tasting bar manager, cellar hand, and aspiring winemaker. Constantly surrounded by passionate people, wonderful food and wine, and a walkable commute, I'm smiling my way through the gray winter days. Most days I can be found at the Southeast Wine Collective on SE Division Street, or wandering the neighborhood in search of my next cup of coffee."
